The National Medical Commission has issued a new rule for medical students studying NEET UG.
The candidate will have to complete MBBS in 9 years in which 4 years will be given to pass the first year.
On the basis of merit of NEET UG, there will be a common counseling for taking admission in all the medical institutes of the country.
Every year the number of applicants has increased for taking admission in this course, while this time more than 20 lakh applications were received.
The students appearing for the medical exam have the same marks, in which the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be considered first.
If in spite of that the marks of some candidates remain same then the decision will be taken by the computerized draw.
NTA can release the result of NEET UG this week by 13th or 14th June.
