Educational Qualification

Obtain a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.

Age Limit

Be within the age group of 21-30 years, with certain relaxations for reserved categories.

Notification of UPSC/State PSC

Regularly check the official UPSC or respective State PSC websites for notifications regarding RTO recruitment.

Application Process

Apply online through the official UPSC or State PSC website once the notification for the RTO recruitment is released.

Written Examination

Prepare for and appear in the written examination, which generally includes subjects like General Knowledge, Automobile Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.


If you qualify in the written exam, you will be called for an interview where your technical knowledge and personality will be assessed.

Medical Examination

Undergo a medical examination to ensure you meet the physical standards required for the post.


Upon selection, undergo training at a designated institute to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.

Probation Period

Serve a probation period where your performance and conduct will be closely monitored.


After successful completion of the probation period, you will be posted as an RTO officer in a respective department.
