The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), a medical institution of national prominence in India, was established by an Act of Parliament in 1956. The act designates AIIMS as an independent entity authorized to award its own medical degrees and academic distinctions. Under the Indian Medical Council Act, these degrees are accepted medical qualifications. This law guarantees degree-holders the same privileges and recognition as graduates from recognized universities across India. AIIMS, New Delhi, has announced a recruitment process for the roles of Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators, with the last date for online application being 28th June 2023. The recruitment process is carried out via AIIMS' official website and is subject to stipulations including those related to caste and economically weaker section (EWS) certification. For instance, OBC candidates must possess a caste certificate issued by a competent authority within the last year, and the EWS candidates should have their certificates issued after 1st April 2023. The online registration process commences on 14th June 2023 and ends on 28th June 2023, with the application status uploaded on 3rd July 2023. Candidates are expected to review the status of their applications and resolve any discrepancies by 5th July 2023. The recruitment test is scheduled for 15th July 2023 with the initial results anticipated to be declared by 21st July 2023. Details for subsequent interviews will be released after the declaration of the initial results. The application fee is Rs.3000/- for General/OBC Category and Rs.2400/- for SC/ST/EWS Category. However, the latter fee is refundable, less any applicable bank charges, upon the candidate's appearance in the first stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination. Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PWBD] are exempted from any fee. A total of 528 posts are up for grabs under the Indian Government's Residency Scheme, including existing vacancies, backlog positions, and future vacancies due to arise from 1st July 2023 to 31st December 2023.
