Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trade compliance programs, ensuring accuracy in all trade activities.
- Review and support the enhancement of import/export processes.
- Engage in customs duty optimization, HS classification, and customs valuation.
- Stay updated with global trade regulations, identifying potential gaps and drafting action plans.
- Provide training on customs & trade compliance laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, and Documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of US, EU, and APAC import/export regulations.
- Proficiency in HS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determination.
- Hands-on experience with customs clearance and trade compliance management.
Competencies
- Strong SOP, report crafting, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task with outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP preferred.
