Responsibilities
As a Product Owner-Payments, you will:
- Serve as the product owner within the Agile development team.
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements and user stories.
- Ensure that user stories are well-understood, appropriately scoped, and aligned with project goals.
- Prioritize user stories based on business value and customer needs.
- Engage with the development team throughout the sprint to provide clarifications and make trade-off decisions.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in large complex organizations, preferably in the BFSI sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of agile delivery and practices.
- Proficiency in distributed and cloud technologies, including but not limited to Linux, Java/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React.
- Familiarity with microservices, mobile and web app security concepts.
- Experience with payment solutions and mainframe environments is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
