The Electronics Engineer position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Performing professional engineering duties that require an application of knowledge of the physical and engineering sciences and mathematics.
- Working on electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Degree in Engineering: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a school with at least one ABET-accredited program.
- Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that includes differential and integral calculus and courses in five of the following seven areas: statics, dynamics; strength of materials; fluid mechanics, hydraulics; thermodynamics; electrical fields and circuits; nature and properties of materials; or any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics.
