Gorakhpur University Eases Financial Burden: No Fee Hike for Existing Students

Gorakhpur University has made a significant decision to not increase fees for existing students enrolled in self-financed courses. This move comes as a relief to many students who were concerned about the financial burden of increased fees. The decision applies only to new admissions, who will be charged the increased fees.

The Decision Unveiled

The university's finance committee and the executive council have approved this decision. It was taken in a meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon. The decision also includes a 25% increase in seats for undergraduate and postgraduate single-subject courses. Students who have already paid the increased fees will have their excess payment adjusted in the next billing cycle.
