The Chandrayaan-3 mission has etched its name in history as one of ISRO's landmark successes. Led by Chairman S Somanath, the mission has made India the first nation to set foot on the moon's south pole and the fourth country to land on the lunar surface. The Project Director of Chandrayaan-3, Veeramuthuvel completed his Mechanical Engineering from a Private Polytechnic College and later earned his PhD from IIT Madras.
