IIT Bombay has officially initiated the application process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2024. Aspiring candidates can now register for undergraduate design programs through the official website. The last date for regular applications is October 31, 2023, until 11:55 PM. However, late registrations will be accepted until November 8, 2023, 11:55 PM, with an additional fee. The examination is slated for January 21, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Both Indian and foreign nationals are eligible to apply. The age limit for OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates is set at those born on or after October 1, 1999. For SC, ST, or PwD candidates, the age limit is extended to those born on or after October 1, 1994. Candidates can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times consecutively. The UCEED score remains valid for one academic year. Candidates must have either passed or be appearing for their Class XII or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024. Students from all streams, including Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities, are eligible. Those who completed their Class XII examination in 2022 or earlier are not eligible. Late registrations will incur an additional fee of Rs. 500 for Indian Nationals and USD 50 for Foreign Nationals. The UCEED 2024 exam consists of a single paper with a total duration of three hours.
